SERBIA – BOSNIA – CROATIA ROUND TRIP 
 
From Belgrade to Dubrovnik by bus or by plane and our bus on site.

PROGRAM:
Day 1: Arrival Belgrade, meeting with our guide at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in 4 * hotel in Belgrade.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing in Belgrade.
A colourful mixture of various ethnic groups strolls through the streets after Serbia, which is after years of dictatorship finally facing Europe. We explore the Kalemegdan fortress (no entry), the Terazje Square and take a look at the Parliament.
In the afternoon we visit the Konak, the castle of Prince Miloš, which fuses Western architecture and oriental ornaments harmoniously.
Experience the city at its best - on a boat trip on the Danube.
Dinner and overnight stay in Belgrade. Dinner on the boat (buffet), duration of boat trip 2.5 hours.

Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Southern Serbian monasteries cross our path today: Studenica (UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its three churches and Zica, where once
the Serbian kings were crowned. Lunch at Studenica, in a way only the monks can serve it, very good and very attractive for the guests. In Lenten season you get fish.
Here we meet a monk who tells us about the current monastic life. We owe the monastery Ljubostinja, a jewel Orthodox Church architecture to prince Lazar’s wife Milica: The princess took the veil on herself and dedicated the building to the widows of soldiers who were killed in the battle of Kosovo. We enjoy the quiet scenery around the monastery. On this day we travel about 300 km.
Dinner and overnight in Vrnjacka Banja 3 * hotel
Dinner:in very famous restaurant "Kruna” - national specialties:appetizer, ham, cheese, mixed meat platter, salad,homemade bread, coffee, glass of wine, beer or juice.
In all the monasteries of Serbia no entry fees are charged, but it is mandatory that visitors leave some contribution on the spot (usually 2,00 € per monastery).

Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel. Continuation of your journey by bus to Sarajevo. Traveling with an intermediate stop in Visegrad (Ivo Andric Nobel laureate: "The Bridge on the Drina”). City tour of Sarajevo, a city that has survived a three-year siege. Here you can visit the picturesque Turkish bazaar "Bescarsija”, the "Gazi Husrevbeg”
Mosque and the Turkish "Svrzina Kuća” house as well as some impressive places where the wounds of the war are still visible. In Sarajevo has been a place where
way different cultures, Orthodox and Catholic churches, mosques and a synagogue meet and are only a few steps apart. Oriental flair characterizes the Old Town with many craft workshops, while the administrative centre breathes the spirit of the Habsburg monarchy.
On this day we travel about 300 km.
Admissions in the churches are to be paid only in cash on the spot (about1,00 to 2,00 EUR per person and church).
Dinner and overnight in a 4 * hotel in Sarajevo.

Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel. Our destination today is Mostar.
Around noon we reach the beautiful city whose restored old town we will get to know on a guided tour. Of course, the path leads us across the old bridge "Stari Most”,
the landmark of the city. On this day we travel about 140 km.
Dinner and overnight stay in Mostar 4 * hotel.
We will have dinner in the hotel park - Karaotok in a beautiful ambient, since there is the nature park "Hutovo Blato” (worth seeing), plus there is also a one-hour boat
trip included in the price.

Day 6: Breakfast at the hotel. The journey continues through the place of pilgrimage Medjugorje. There, since 24 July 1981, the Holy Mother of Peace appears to announce messages of peace, faith, repentance, prayer, fasting and penance. Up to an estimated one million pilgrimsa year visit this place, which counts 4,300 inhabitants.
Furthermore, a short stop in Pocitelj, a picturesque oriental town on the Neretva River is planned. The journey continues through the Neretva delta to the coastand ultimately to Dubrovnik. On this day we travel about 150 km.
Dinner and overnight in a 3 * hotel in Dubrovnik.

Day 7: Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Dubrovnik. The city is also called the Pearl of the Adriatic Coast and is a true treasury of cultural and historical monuments, whichwere preserved and protected by its citizens over thecenturies. Due to this impressive collection of historicaland cultural heritage, this city is listed and protected onthe list of UNESCO as a unique World Heritage Site.
During a walk through the old town you can admire the most important historical attractions ranging from the Baroque palace at the parade, the Dominican monastery with its valuable collection of paintings, the Franciscan monastery with the oldest pharmacy in Europe, the Rector’s Palace, the Orlando Column and the meter-
thick city wall. Enjoy the afternoon off with a stroll on the ramparts or a boat trip to the island of Lokrum. Inthe evening we say goodbye in a typical Dalmatian restaurant and enjoy Croatian specialties. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Entrance fees to Palace Rector’s dvor and oldest pharmacy are included in package price.
Dinner: on a farm, beautiful old and typical Dalmatian restaurant. Menu - Dalmatian specialties with desert, coffee and wine (included in package price).

Day 8: Homeward journey.
